Mobile Phlebotomist

Job Summary As a *Mobile Phlebotomist*, you will travel to various healthcare facilities—such as nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living centers—to perform high-volume blood draws and specimen collections primarily for older adult and geriatric populations. This role combines clinical precision with compassionate care, requiring you to efficiently manage multi-patient blood draws on-site while handling minimal administrative duties. Key Responsibilities * *Facility Travel:* Commute to assigned healthcare and senior living facilities to complete scheduled rounds of blood draws and specimen collections. * *High-Volume Phlebotomy:* Perform efficient, gentle venipunctures on multiple patients per site, specializing in the needs of geriatric and older adult populations with fragile veins. * *Specimen Processing:* Accurately label, centrifuge (if required), and package all collected samples for safe transport to the laboratory. * *Minimal Administration:* Complete basic electronic documentation, tracking, and logs using mobile devices * *Infection Control:* Adhere strictly to safety protocols, proper PPE usage, and secure disposal of sharps and biohazard waste in a healthcare environment. Qualifications & Requirements * *Licensure:* Must possess an active, up-to-date *Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)* license. * *Clinical Experience:* Proven experience in phlebotomy, with a strong background or comfort working primarily with geriatric and older adult patients in clinical or long-term care settings. * *Certifications:* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification. * *Logistics:* Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel between multiple facilities daily with mobile equipment. *Work Location:* In person (Facility-to-Facility Travel Required) Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
