Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team here at Developmental Service Trainers. In this role, you will be the bridge between our participants' homes and their Adult Day Training (ADT) program. This position requires responsibility, excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Safe Transportation: Operate company vehicles to transport participants to and from our ADT facility, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols. Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries. - Assistance & Support: Assist participants with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including managing wheelchairs or other mobility aids with care and precision. - Safety Protocols: Ensure all passengers are properly secured according to safety regulations. Monitor participant well-being during transit. Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order. - Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely travel logs, mileage records, and incident reports in compliance with APD (Agency for Persons with Disabilities) requirements.
