We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research.Position SummaryFlexible work arrangements, including virtual/hybrid work locations, are an integral part of the School of Medicine’s Working Forward initiative. As such, this position’s work location is designated as hybrid. Please note that the designated work location is subject to change based on the unit’s business needs.The Community Health Advocate will serve as the implementor of the Health Living Anson Study Pilot. They will schedule individual and group sessions with participants, report on participant progress, provide updates to teams about the progress during weekly team meetings, book and reserve spaces to hold the sessions and assist in the off-boarding of participants from the study (providing support to them with completing the survey).This position requires experience serving Anson County community members through volunteering opportunities. The selected candidate should reside within a reasonable driving distance to Anson County, NC, to perform essential job duties. The position will require driving within Anson County, NC.Minimum Education And Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
