We are seeking a committed RN specializing in Orthopedic and Neurological care to join our team.Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements and state-specific standards. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and the care team to deliver personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, adhering to established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." Additionally, you will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying our organization’s vision, mission, and values to ensure an exceptional patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate the patient's condition upon admission and during each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in their status.Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of care in the patient's medical record.Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate actions in case of adverse reactions.Deliver outstanding care by responding swiftly to patient requests, anticipating their needs, and addressing them proactively.Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up care, ensuring clarity by simplifying complex medical terms.Qualifications Required:Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.Must be a Registered Nurse.Our facility is an 80+ bed full-service hospital serving Lee’s Summit and surrounding communities.
