DataPower Developer
Responsibilities:
Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation project Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data
Analyse and review enhancement requests and specifications
Implement stem software and customize it to client requirements
Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans Code new programs to the client’s specifications and create test data for testing
Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation Provide quality assurance reviews Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required 8-10 years of experience
A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design large systems software design and development experience
Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution
Install, Upgrade, and Maintain IBM DataPower Appliances (on-prem and Cloud, preferably AWS)
Install,
Upgrade, and Administer IBM API Connect
Implement Best Practices for HA and Security
Implement Logging and App monitoring mechanisms
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for DataPower and APIC activities
Maintaining SOP for 24x7 support
Collaborate with development, network teams, etc for New Initiatives and Troubleshooting
On-call Support for L3 issues and work with IBM Support when needed
Requirements:
2+ years of Experience with IBM DataPower administration including performance tuning
4+ years of Experience with APIC/APIM Administration
Understanding of web security standards
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $85.00 - $100.00 per hour
