Shipping Team Member

Job Description: The candidate will be responsible for on time staging of building parts for shipment. Will track line 06 and line 08 parts through production to ensure on time and complete shipments. Use of lifting devices and lift trucks to move both raw and finished material will be required. This person may be required to assist loading crew and work overtime as needed to achieve on time and complete shipment goals. Responsibilities: · Responsible for the safety and training of others. · Focus efforts to work towards continuous improvement. · Responsible for compliance with all documented procedures and employee handbook. · Responsible for the quality and quantity of the finished product. · Responsible for creating and maintaining a working team environment. · Responsible for good housekeeping and performing routine PM on associated equipment. · Responsible for on time and complete shipping of line 06 and line 08 products. · Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision. · Responsible for any other tasks, as assigned by Team Leader. · Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedure, policy and job safety analysis (JSA). · Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO-9001:2015 Qualifications: · Good communication skills. · Ability and willingness to learn. · Flexibility to work weekends, as needed. · Ability to read and interpret prints to inspect parts for accuracy. · Ability to read and understand BBS Loading and Staging Bills of Material. · Basic computer skills to track parts and enter packing information, etc. · Safely operate forklift and overhead crane to load and unload material. · Able to achieve lift-truck & crane certifications · Ability to work both inside and outside. · Knowledge of building parts and processes preferred. · Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds approximately 50% of the time.
