FX Product Manager
Product Manager For Global Foreign Exchange Risk ManagementWe are seeking a product manager who will be responsible for providing essential functional and analytical support to the Global Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management unit, driving enterprise-wide FX solution implementations and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strategic insight, technical acumen, and leadership experience to support the full lifecycle of FX systems and digital transformation initiatives.Responsibilities include managing FX product capabilities activities, establishing required processes, assessing inherited risks, and developing policies, procedures and controls to mitigate risks. The role also involves implementing and providing ongoing management and monitoring of the FX Ops and processes, demonstrating deep knowledge of FX products including SPOT, derivatives, FX deposits, interbank trading, international payments, settlement processes, and risk mitigation. Day-to-day FX operations activities must be led to meet established goals and appropriate turnaround time to meet regulatory requirements for time sensitive activities. The product manager will also monitor productivity and proactively implement process improvements to ensure service quality, service level agreements and Operational Excellence. A collaborative work environment must be created and maintained to facilitate the achievement of business plan objectives. The role includes ensuring that FX Operations complies with all federal, state, local laws and internal Bank policies, performing periodic review of all processes including 3rd party vendor processing and audit of their process, responding to internal and external audit requests and findings and implementing remediation actions to any identified noncompliant processes or areas of concern. All project duties as assigned by management must be performed, and participation and assistance in new FX department initiatives involving technology, new products and improving client delivery of services is required. Planning, liaising and coordinating as FX Ops subject matter expert with Global Treasury Management, IT and other areas of the bank to improve and automate delivery of FX services is also part of the role.Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics. Minimum 10 years' banking experience with minimum of 5 years' exposure to FX Operations and all FX related products is required. 5+ years of leadership experience is necessary. Advance knowledge of Foreign Exchange products and transactions and Deposit Account regulatory and compliance requirements is essential. Strong FX Operations system knowledge with emphasis on data quality and interface projects is required. Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities with accomplishment of efficiency gains/cost savings are needed. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization including senior management is required. Excellent decision-making, problem solving and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
