WILL OFFER RELOCATION!A Hospitality Development Group is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead hotel renovation and capital improvement projects across an active portfolio of hospitality properties.This role is responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and in alignment with brand and operational standards in live hotel environments.You will work closely with hotel leadership, consultants, designers, contractors, and ownership teams to successfully execute complex renovation programs.What You'll DoLead end-to-end execution of hotel renovation and capital improvement projectsManage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and construction deliveryCoordinate with hotel operations teams, ownership, and brand/architecture groupsDevelop and maintain detailed project budgets, cost controls, and reportingOversee contractor procurement, bidding, negotiation, and value engineeringManage design coordination and ensure alignment with brand standardsDirect consultants including architects, engineers, and specialty disciplinesHandle permitting, approvals, and coordination with government agenciesTrack and resolve construction issues, conflicts, RFIs, and change ordersReview and approve pay applications, invoices, and contract documentationConduct site visits, job meetings, inspections, and punch list managementEnsure quality control and successful project closeout and turnoverCoordinate FF&E installation planning and execution with internal teamsManage facility condition assessments and ongoing property evaluationsWhat They're Looking For5+ years of experience in construction management or construction administrationHospitality, hotel renovation, or occupied construction experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of budgets, scheduling, and contractor managementExperience coordinating consultants and multiple project stakeholdersAbility to manage projects in active, operating environmentsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelWhy This RoleThis is a high-impact role responsible for delivering complex hospitality renovation projects across a growing portfolio. You'll play a key role in maintaining and elevating property standards while working directly with leadership, operators, and design teams.Essential Job Requirements:Education: University degree, with preferable specialty in engineering, architecture or constructionExperience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction or architectural construction administration, with preferable experience and understanding in hotel design, FF&E, renovations and operations.Preferred Skills: Should have personal initiative to get things done with minimal guidance; should evidence historic ability to work easily with others; should show ability to seek out other resources within company to facilitate and expedite the development processPhysical Requirements: Must be able to travel on a regular basis; must maintain professional appearance in manner and dress regardless of circumstances
