This is a full‐time, year‐round position, not seasonal. Lifeguards supervise guests, enforce waterpark rules, prevent accidents, and maintain a clean and safe environment. Professionalism, alertness, and strong swimming skills are essential.Learn why Wisconsin Dells is the Waterpark Capital of the World:Key Responsibilities Supervise guests in all pool and waterpark areasEnforce all waterpark rules and safety regulationsWatch for hazardous situations and respond quicklyPromote a fun, safe, and relaxing atmosphereAssist guests and team members as neededMaintain pool and deck areas, including hosing down surfacesRemove debris from pools and decksKeep tubes stacked neatly and manage tube usageKeep pool furniture and umbrellas clean and organizedMaintain towel supplies for guestsCarry soiled towels to laundry and restock clean towelsEnsure all safety and cleaning equipment is stored properlyPerform other duties as assignedSchedule Work schedules vary and may include:EveningsWeekendsHolidaysAny day Monday–SundayRequirements Strong swimming ability; must be able to swim the length of a poolAbility to complete swim test and Red Cross Lifeguard Training (provided)Ability to frequently swim, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bendAbility to communicate, read, write, and speak English effectivelyProfessional appearance and attitudeFriendly, courteous, energetic, and guest‐focusedPunctual with excellent time‐management skillsAbility to work under pressure and remain calmPhysically fit, assertive, and a strong team playerAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperaturesAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally; frequently move up to 10 lbsAbility to work in moderate noise environmentsFlexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidaysPerformance Expectations Dependability:Arrive on time and maintain regular attendance.Job Performance:Complete duties quickly, efficiently, and safely.Conduct:Follow all worksite rules and regulations.
