University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) and Russell Medical have formed a strategic relationship to create an incredible opportunity for a General Surgeon to be a part of the GI Surgery Faculty at UAB. The General Surgeon will live and work in the hospital s lake community while also having a clinical Faculty appointment with UAB. This relationship ensures full support of the General Surgeon by the GI Surgery Faculty including call coverage and clinical support as necessary. Russell Medical has a daVinci surgical system with dual consoles and full laparoscopic capabilities.
