Senior Project Manager – Water / WastewaterLocation: Indianapolis, INCompensation: $150,000 OverviewA growing engineering organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in water and wastewater projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex municipal projects while also contributing to business development and client relationship management.This is a hybrid position with a competitive compensation package, including bonus potential and merit increases.Position OverviewThe Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing water and wastewater projects of varying complexity, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, and budget. This role also partners closely with leadership on client engagement and business development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & ExecutionManage water and wastewater projects from planning through executionEnsure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetCoordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering and technical functionsOversee project design and execution while minimizing riskClient ManagementServe as primary point of contact for key clientsMaintain and grow existing client relationshipsAttend client meetings, site visits, and field inspectionsEnsure high-quality client service and satisfactionBusiness DevelopmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective clientsSupport proposal development including technical approaches and scopes of workParticipate in networking events, presentations, and industry engagementsAssist leadership with departmental growth initiativesCollaboration & LeadershipWork closely with marketing and technical teams on proposals and project deliverySupport internal coordination across departments to execute projects efficientlyAssist in mentoring and developing junior staffQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field10+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering (flexible for strong candidates)Experience working with municipal clients across planning, design, and constructionProven project management experience including budgets, scopes, and schedulesStrong client-facing and relationship management skillsExperience with proposal writing and business developmentPE License requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with stormwater design (nice to have)Background in staff development and team leadershipStrong presentation and networking experienceCompensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $120,000 – $150,000+ (flexible for highly experienced candidates)Performance-based bonusAnnual merit increasesRelocation assistance availableHybrid schedule: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
