Document Control AssistantKansas City, MOLong-Term Contract OpportunityOur client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Assistant to support engineering project teams in Kansas City, MO. This role will work closely with Project Managers and document control personnel to ensure accurate processing, tracking, and distribution of project documentation across multiple engineering projects.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and document management experience who thrives in a fast-paced project environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the document control team and Project Managers with project documentation and data managementSupport setup and coordination for multiple small projects and assist with larger projects as neededHelp establish and maintain document control standards and proceduresCommunicate document management procedures to internal project teamsCoordinate project documentation with engineers and project stakeholdersCompile and maintain electronic project data booksIssue document transmittals to clients and vendorsProcess vendor submittals and maintain accurate recordsPackage and distribute electronic documents for clients, vendors, and internal teamsTroubleshoot and communicate document-related issues with vendors and clientsMonitor project workflows and maintain organized filing systemsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standardsPerform additional administrative and project support duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required3+ years of applicable document control, administrative, or project support experience preferredRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirementsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and AccessAccurate and efficient data entry skills requiredStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a team environmentExcellent communication and coordination skillsPreferred SkillsExperience supporting engineering, construction, or technical project teamsFamiliarity with document management systems and electronic filing processesAbility to work independently while supporting cross-functional teamsAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
