Full-Time Production Staff

SoCo Ginger Beer and Comet Juice is looking for an organized, efficient, and team-oriented member of our production staff! This role would assist Production Manager with overseeing production operations, maintaining recipes, managing produce inventory and costs, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, and collaborating with sales, farmers markets, and other departments. Responsibilities Assist the Production Manager with production and packaging of SoCo Ginger Beer and fresh pressed juices for Comet Juice: preparation and juicing of fruits and vegetables, operating the juicing equipment, bottling machine, and labeler Collaborate with Production Manager on produce ordering, inventory Maintaining and cleaning juice machine, hydraulic juice press and other warehouse equipment daily Ensuring compliance with all cleanliness and food safety requirements Qualifications Food handling and preparation experience Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds Experience and know-how in using kitchen equipment and tools Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced small business environment Schedule: Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Sunday day shifts (A note or cover letter about yourself and why you think you are a good fit for this position goes a long way toward standing out.)
