Data Services Technician

A company is looking for a Data Services Technician to provide support and assist in troubleshooting for Precision Agronomists and key stakeholders using proprietary software. Key Responsibilities Support Precision Agronomist data operations in the proprietary software platform Prioritize and schedule help requests; escalate requests to appropriate specialists when necessary Utilize GIS for analysis, querying, and visualization of spatial data Required Qualifications Two or four-year degree in an agricultural-related field, GIS, computer science, or related field Basic knowledge of GIS software (Esri ArcGIS or open source alternatives) Experience with major digital ag platforms and their associated data Use of Ag Leader SMS software for data conversion and processing Working knowledge of different data types, including non-spatial and spatial formats
