Accounting Manager
Job Description:
The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and be responsible for financial reporting, general accounting, regulatory and tax compliance, M&A integration support, vendor payments and ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and related analysis. This leadership role will be a critical partner to the Vice President of Finance as the company continues to scale organically and through acquisition.
Essential job functions and duties, including but not limited to:
Responsible for coordination and completion of month-end Close activities according to tight deadlines
Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the financial reporting and analysis to Corporate and Branch Management, US Regional office and Group office in Sweden
Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Company’s accounting policies and procedures for adherence to relevant GAAP
Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and safeguarding of company assets
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, core employee expense reports, and all internal purchases, including capital expenditures
Support financial and tax audits
Assist with the integration of acquired entities
Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive team environment
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations
Manage a team of direct reports, including staff accountants and AP specialist, and a customer facing Billing & Collections team supervisor; ensure the team is focused and motivated

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA (preferred)
A minimum of 10 years of experience with accrual accounting required, acquisition integration experience preferred
Financial Management experience required
Required Skills
Experience with financial modeling preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IBM Cognos Controller, preferred
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products, in particular, Excel and Word
Ability and willingness to keep and maintain confidential information
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and continuous process improvement mindset.
Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Be able to work in a team-based environment
Have strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards safely and successfully
Regular and punctual attendance
Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
Physical Requirements
Requires constant (67% - 100% of the time) sitting, standing, walking, reaching writing and typing
