About the CompanyA technology-driven organization supporting real-time, mission-critical operations is seeking a Broadcast IT Engineer to maintain, monitor, and support a hybrid enterprise IT environment. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance across operational, collaboration, and production-adjacent workflows in a fast-paced, high-visibility setting.The ideal candidate is comfortable working in dynamic environments, supporting time-sensitive operations, and resolving complex technical issues where uptime and clear communication are essential.About the RoleThe Broadcast IT Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting a hybrid enterprise IT environment.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate on the installation, integration, and support of IT-centric workflows that power live broadcast and production environmentsProvide on-site technical support for live events, including event staging and broadcast operationsTroubleshoot complex issues related to systems uptime, backup, archiving, and business continuity in high-pressure, real-time environmentsAdminister and secure Active Directory and Microsoft 365 applicationsManage and support a hybrid Office 365 / Exchange email environmentGuide and assist Tier 1 support resources on advanced technical issuesParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting live events, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMaintain detailed technical documentation, including as-builts, wire lists, cable labeling, and system diagramsExecute scheduled changes and provide real-time communication during active incidentsResearch, evaluate, and recommend equipment upgrades, replacements, and new technologiesPerform additional duties as needed to support broadcast and IT operations QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience supporting computer hardware, networks, and PC operating systems5+ years of hands-on experience supporting multimedia, live events, or broadcast production environmentsStrong expertise with Windows Server (2016+), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft 365Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues under time-sensitive conditionsExperience supporting online streaming platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, and similar servicesFamiliarity with Visio and/or AutoCAD for technical documentation and system drawingsStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teamsHigh integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationExceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environmentWillingness and flexibility to support live events outside standard business hours
