New clinicians typically receive orientation and training support before working independently.About the Facility Location In Amarillo, Texas, visit Cadillac Ranch to experience the unique public art installation featuring buried vintage Cadillacs as a quirky testament to Route 66 culture.About the Clinician's Workday The physician will provide comprehensive occupational medicine services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating work-related injuries, performing DOT certifications and pre-placement physical examinations for various employers, and evaluating urgent care patients on a walk-in basis. The clinician will maintain an average caseload of 20-25 patients per day with 90% occupational medicine cases and 10% urgent care, complete all documentation using AllScripts EMR system, and communicate with employers regarding patient care plans.
