Pipe Welder

*Job Overview* We are seeking several skilled Pipe Welders to join our team. The Pipe Welders will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble pipelines according to specifications. *Duties* - Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Perform pipe welding using various techniques such as TIG, Stick welding and FCAW - Utilize tools like calipers for measurements and tube bending equipment - Assemble and install piping systems in industrial settings - Conduct quality checks on welded joints to ensure they meet standards - Work on construction sites to weld and fit pipes as needed *Requirements* - Proficient in welding techniques including TIG, Stick welding and FCAW - Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints - Experience with tube bending, soldering, and basic math skills - Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety procedures - Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately - Ability to pass the following welding tests at the companies facility prior to hire on: + 6G Stainless Steel Pipe Test- 3" Schedule 10 Pipe, Tig all the way out. + 6G Carbon Steel Pipe Test- 4" Schedule 40 Pipe- Tig Root & Hot- 7018 Fill & Cap. + 6G Carbon Steel Pipe Test- 4" Schedule 40 Pipe- 6010 Root & Hot- 7018 Fill & Cap. *You will need to bring the following to testing on your own: Welding Hood, Steel Toe Boots, Long Sleeve Shirt, Stinger, Tig Rig, and your Welding bucket with tool. The company will provide the Grinder, Metabo and End Grinder for testing.* Pay is 32hr/100 a day per diem Job Type: Temporary Pay: $32.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Overtime People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
