Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in California, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D and postpartum experience along with Epic proficiency.Job Details• 13-week contract at an acute care hospital (277 staffed beds) in Santa Rosa, CA,• Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:3 patient ratio,• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 4x12 schedule available upon request,• Epic EMR required,• Scrubs are provided for L&D staff,• Floating between like units and across all facilities within the state is required,Job Requirements• Active CA RN license required; pending licenses not accepted,• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring,• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred,• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience required - this is a hard requirement,• Epic EMR experience required,• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting,• SSN and DOB required for consideration,Additional Information• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position,• Local candidates are not accepted,• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; post-offer RTO requests may be denied,• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility,• Orientation is 36 hours,
