Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingMonitor, operate, and adjust automated control systems to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operationsAnalyze real-time process data and alarms to diagnose issues and initiate corrective actionsCoordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize system performanceSupport system troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain accurate operational documentation and communicate system status across shiftsWhat Are We Looking ForStrong proficiency in operating automated control systems. Knowledge of technology enabled operations, automation, control systems, data flows, and system performance monitoring.Ability to quickly assess abnormal conditions, determine root causes at ahigh level, and take appropriate action. You should be comfortable making decisions under pressure while maintaining a safety first mindset.Demonstrated success working with diverse teams maintenance technicians, engineers, supervisors, and operators to resolve issues and optimize system performance. Clear communication is essential.A strong commitment to safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and consistent product quality. Taking ownership of maintaining a stable, controlled operating environment.Comfort working with evolving automation technologies and willingness to learn new tools, systems and processes.
