Job Purpose The Recovery Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive support and guidance to individuals undergoing recovery from behavioral health issues. The role involves working closely with clients to facilitate their recovery journey, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and support to achieve their personal recovery goals. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments to understand the individual needs of clients and develop personalized recovery plans. Provide one-on-one support and counseling to clients, helping them to navigate their recovery process. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure clients receive holistic support. Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops to promote peer support and shared learning among clients. Monitor and document client progress, adjusting recovery plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to community resources and services that support their recovery. Educate clients and their families about behavioral health issues and recovery strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in recovery support and integrate these into client care.
