QA/QC Inspector
Job Title: QA/QC Inspector Location: Temecula, CA (onsite) Contract Duration: Contract until 07/31/2026 Work Hours: 5:00 am - 2:30 pm Description: This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures. Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures Education/Experience: High School Diploma / 0-2 year's related work experience preferred. Top 5 skills/requirements: Previous experience in Quality performing inspection. Prior medical device component inspection experience preferred. Experience with optical measurement equipment, hand tools, gages, pressure and force gage testing. Training and experience with inspection sampling techniques. Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. additional skills to compliment the role: Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment. Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail. Must be willing to work overtime as required, including weekends Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance Oversee all quality inspection activities Develop inspection plan for receiving inspection Improve the quality assurance and quality control Adapt inspection equipment to meet quality control standards Perform quality inspections on all product Assess inspection requirements and assign inspection projects and tasks to inspection personnel Implement quality assurance training programs Develop inspection standards and best methods for performing inspection Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents Perform safety and quality audits Develop standardized work for inspection Maintain inspection and measuring equipment Performing first article inspections using various inspection equipment Ensure all quality standards and procedures Evaluate and improve inspection and testing Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes Assure consistent high quality of products through inspection and product release Act as a customer liaison during audits, inspection demonstrations and other inspection activities Maintain records of all quality, test and inspection reports Complete all necessary customer documentation for inspection activities
