System and IT Manager

One of our top clients is seeking a versatile System/IT Manager to join their team. This role is on-site in the North suburbs of Indianapolis and is contract fulltime/direct-hire. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in 3PL, Synapse, and distribution environments.No 3rd party candidates.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with staff, customers, vendors, and managers to understand and assess computing and systems needs and requirementsLeads the 3PL customers’ teams in system implementation, onboarding, training, etcServes as Systems liaison between operating divisions, vendors, customers, and all internal departments to achieve objectivesInterfaces between external customers’ operating systems and internal systems to ensure data integrity between the systemsAutomation of systems to increase efficiency across the business unitCreation, automation, and maintenance of customer and internal reporting systems. Not limited to but including: inventory management, PowerBI, Crystal Reporting, SQL reporting, Synapse AnywhereQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information systems or computer science; master’s degree preferredExperience in Warehouse and Distribution environmentsExperience with Synapse or similar WMSFive or more years’ experience in a similar role; 3PL experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of operating systems, interfaces, computing, and scripting
