Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionA local union manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 am. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Fridays as needed. Job Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipmentElectrical work including installation, modifying, repairing, or replacing electronic or electrical equipment according to prints and schematicsUse voltmeters and circuit testers to locate and repair electrical malfunctions while adhering to codePerform difficult plant maintenance such as masonry and bricklayingPerform day-to-day HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs and perform painting, drilling, cutting, welding, and pipe fitting as neededMaintain maintenance supplies and inventory and maintain records of all routine checks on building and equipmentPerform other duties as needed Job RequirementsJob Requirements:Must have a minimum of 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience and able to operate a tow motorMust have experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, hydraulics, and electrical schematicsMust have the ability to communicate with foundry supervisors, production managers, and management team to assure repairs are made and equipment is operating effectivelyThe ability to solve problem and multi-task is neededOnly those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
