Software PublishersWeb Search Portals, Libraries, Archives, and Other Information ServicesComputer Systems Design and Related ServicesSpecial Food ServicesMedia Streaming Distribution Services, Social Networks, and Other Media Networks and Content ProvidersONLY W2ONLY USC and GCLocals to VA - preferredAEM Engineer Arlington, VA (2–3 days onsite preferred) | Remote option available Contract Through June 2026This role focuses on building and enhancing scalable web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Cloud Service).Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and OSGi servicesBuild and maintain AEM-based digital experiences using AEMaaCSDevelop backend solutions using Java, J2EE, Sling, and OSGiCreate responsive front-end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTL (Sightly)Integrate AEM with APIs, backend systems, and third-party platforms (CRM, analytics, marketing tools)Optimize application performance, scalability, and caching strategiesTroubleshoot, debug, and support QA/testing effortsCollaborate with UX, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholdersParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and release cyclesRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)Expertise in:Java / J2EESling, OSGi, HTLHTML5, CSS3, JavaScriptExperience with AEM Assets (must-have)Experience building components, workflows, and managing content lifecycleFamiliarity with Maven, GitExperience with system integrations (e.g., APIs, authentication, CDNs)Strong problem-solving and debugging skillsExperience working in Agile environmentsNice to HaveExperience with Adobe Marketing Cloud (Target, Analytics)Exposure to Adaptive Forms / HTML5 forms / document servicesKnowledge of integrations like MuleSoft, Azure AD, JWTAdobe certifications (AEM Developer or Architect)Banking or Financial Services experience
