With a strong focus on reliability and ethical standards, we empower our clients to communicate seamlessly worldwide.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote position for a RID-certified American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter at LanguagePath Solutions. Responsibilities include interpreting in real-time for virtual or on-demand platforms, ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate communication between parties. The interpreter will collaborate with a diverse client base to facilitate understanding and deliver high-quality, professional services. Additional duties may include utilizing our secure Interpreter Management System, adhering to HIPAA compliance standards, and maintaining records for reporting and quality assurance purposes.QualificationsAdvanced fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and proficiency in English to ensure accurate interpretation.Certification by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) is required; additional certifications are a plus.Strong skills in cultural competence to ensure effective communication across diverse contexts and communities.Experience with video remote interpreting (VRI) or over-the-phone interpreting (OPI), including familiarity with digital platforms.Collaborative communication skills for interacting with clients and other team members effectively.Experience in healthcare, legal, or educational settings is preferred but not required.
