Radio Frequency Electronics Technician

RF Electronics Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for an RF Electronics Maintenance Technician to join our team! Responsibilities for this position include maintaining, operating, and repairing high power microwave transmitters used for RF research. Design and setup experiments for protocols using various RF sources. Maintain lab notebooks and data collection files as well as performing data analysis and interpretation. Performs detailed RF dosimetry of all frequencies. Compose written methods of dosimetry and data collection processes for publication. Perform safety measurements and ensure safety regulation and procedures are followed. Fabricate various test set-ups from raw materials to be used in experiments dealing with RF.Qualifications include U.S Citizenship required, BA/BS and 3+ years experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree can be considered. Ability to obtain and maintain SECRET Security clearance. Must be a highly motivated, well organized, and independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and great attention to detail. Must be comfortable working in a highly innovative and fast-pace environment and have a strong ability to cope with change. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
