Electrical Engineer

Martarano Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. MEI is a rapidly growing MEP firm looking for professionals excited to expand their career in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Electrical Engineering program. The candidate should possess good written and oral communication skills. This position will design electrical distribution systems, lighting and lighting control systems and fire alarm systems. The candidate should have 5+ years experience in engineering and design of electrical systems for buildings/facilities. EIT or PE license is highly preferred. Salary range is $70-120k/yr depending on experience. Design: Electrical systems design for buildings. Perform electrical design calculations such as load analysis, voltage drops, and short circuit analysis. Coordinate with architect, client and other engineering & design disciplines on lighting and power. Electrical load calculations, equipment selection, layouts. Design: 5+ years experience in electrical systems design for buildings (power/lighting, fire protection, CCTV, Building Access, etc.). BSEE or BSAE Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Prior experience using Revit is highly preferred.
