Due to growth, the current Accounting Lead role is being split into two dedicated positions-one focused on Accounts Payable and one on Accounts Receivable-to improve efficiency, specialization, and team supportOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Lead or Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee daily operations and support a high-volume accounting environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience managing a small team and driving accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement.Key Requirements (Must-Have)2+ years of experience leading a team of 4-5 employees (required)Background in Accounts Payable OR Accounts ReceivableAbility to manage high-volume transactions in a fast-paced environmentStrong Excel, QuickBooks Online, and ERP system experienceWhat You'll DoReconcile and post cash receipts across multiple systemsResearch invoices, payments, and billing discrepanciesProcess lien waivers and manage customer portals (including Supply Pro)Resolve unapplied cash, overpayments, refunds, and duplicate paymentsAct as escalation point for complex billing inquiries and disputesCollaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve workflowsSupport system implementations as an SME (A/R impact)Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policiesWhat We're Looking ForStrong communication skills (written & verbal)Highly detail-oriented with excellent time managementSelf-starter who can work independently and prioritize effectivelyCritical thinker with problem-solving abilityProfessional, team-oriented mindsetAdditional QualificationsTyping speed: 45+ WPM and 8,000+ KPH (10-key)Comfortable working under deadlines in a high-volume settingWilling to undergo background and credit check
