Material Handler

This position supports manufacturing by unloading incoming shipments, transporting materials to production areas, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring equipment operators have the materials they need to stay productive.This is a physically active position for someone who enjoys working around machinery, operating industrial equipment, and being an essential part of the manufacturing process. This position is located in Bluffton, IN. Material Handler Benefits & Compensation: Starting pay: $18.20/hourDay Shift: Monday–Thursday5:00 AM – 3:30 PMConsistent schedule with three-day weekendsFriday overtime availableStable manufacturing environmentOpportunity to expand skills and grow within operationsMaterial Handler Requirements & Qualifications:Previous overhead crane operating experiencePrevious material handling experienceAbility to safely operate forklifts, lift trucks, or similar equipmentHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and heavy materialsAbility to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftComfortable unloading steel and aluminum materials from incoming trucksStrong safety awareness and attention to detailAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screenMaterial Handler Preferred Background & Skills:Experience reviewing material certifications and receiving documentationExperience in steel processing or metal manufacturingShipping and receiving experienceInventory control or warehouse experienceFamiliarity with FIFO inventory systemsExperience supporting stamping, forming, or press operationsAbility to use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers
