Early Childhood Education (ECE) and English Language Arts (ELA) teacher

HudsonWay Immersion School seeks a dedicated and skilled Early Childhood Education (ECE) and English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to support our youngest learners. This role provides ELA instruction to Kindergarten and Grade 1 students, along with 30-minute lessons for our Early Childhood (ECE) classes.The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of early childhood development and brings a proven track record of success in early education. Familiarity with the Science of Reading and The Creative Curriculum is strongly preferred.This is a specialist position rather than a homeroom role. HudsonWay is a language immersion school, and students receive the majority of their instruction in Mandarin or Spanish from native-speaking teachers.Key Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate ELA instruction tailored to individual student needs Differentiate instruction to support diverse linguistic, cultural, and academic backgrounds Apply early intervention strategies to support student growth Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes strong behavioral expectations Maintain accurate student records in compliance with school policies and regulations Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practiceWe regret we cannot respond to every applicant.
