Electrical Helper/Ayudante de Electricista

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Electrical Helper/Ayudante de Electricista to assist licensed electricians on various construction and industrial projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical systems, working in dynamic environments such as construction sites and commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, basic electrical knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow within the electrical trade. Duties Assist electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to support wiring and component installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate wiring and system setup. Handle low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Support the installation of conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites. Assist with framing carpentry as needed for electrical installations in construction projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met efficiently. Experience Prior experience working as an electrical helper or apprentice is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and basic electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters is desirable. Construction site experience is beneficial to understand safety procedures and work environment dynamics. Knowledge of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage wiring is advantageous. Basic understanding of low voltage systems and schematics will support successful task completion.
