A successful precision manufacturing company is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer with strong lathe programming experience and exposure to milling operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on programming professional who thrives in a fast-paced machining environment and enjoys working on complex, tight-tolerance components.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis lathes and turning centers.Support milling operations and assist with programming machining centers as needed.Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, preferably Mastercam.Interpret blueprints, GD&T, process sheets, and engineering drawings.Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production personnel to enhance manufacturing processes.Select tooling, establish setup procedures, and recommend process improvements.Perform first-piece inspections and support quality initiatives.Optimize cycle times while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standardsQualifications5+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong CNC lathe programming background; milling experience is highly desirable.Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, ideally Mastercam.Experience programming and supporting multi-axis machining operations.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Hands-on machining, setup, or manufacturing experience preferred.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation based on experience.Stable and growing manufacturing environment.Opportunity to work on complex, high-precision components.Comprehensive benefits package available.
