Distribution Sales Manager
As APT Manufacturing Solutions continues to grow, we are seeking a Distribution Sales Manager with a primary focus on Education & Training Products and an expectation of active cross-channel collaboration.

Position Purpose
The Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding sales through an assigned distribution channel for APT Manufacturing Solutions. This role focuses on developing strong distributor partnerships, increasing channel performance, and identifying new opportunities to grow market presence and revenue.
While the Distribution Sales Manager serves as the primary lead for one distribution channel, the position works closely with other channel managers to ensure customers and distributor partners receive consistent support across the organization. Success in this role requires a proactive, team-oriented approach that prioritizes shared results, avoids silos, and strengthens the overall channel network.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
Distributor Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for distributor partners within the assigned channel.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor leadership and sales teams.
Conduct regular business reviews, performance discussions, and joint planning efforts.
Channel Growth & Strategy
Own and execute strategies to increase sales and expand the effectiveness of an assigned distribution channel.
Identify opportunities for channel growth through new customer penetration, product expansion, and distributor development.
Drive initiatives that improve distributor engagement, performance, and alignment with company goals.
Cross-Channel Collaboration
Partner with other Distribution Sales Managers to support customer needs that span multiple channels or territories.
Assist in resolving distributor or customer challenges collaboratively to ensure a seamless experience.
Share insights, best practices, and growth opportunities across the channel team.
Promote a unified, customer-focused approach rather than operating in isolation.
Market Development & Customer Support
Support distributor sales efforts through product training, sales tools, and joint customer visits.
Represent APT Manufacturing Solutions at distributor events, trade shows, and industry meetings.
Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Maintain accurate forecasts, channel sales pipelines, and performance reporting.
Monitor key metrics such as sell-through, growth targets, and distributor activity.
Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, customer service, and operations to support channel success.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial markets
Proven success working through distributors, dealers, or channel partners
Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills
