Python SQL ETL Specialist
Position Summary:The Regulatory Retention E-Communications Archive team are growing to meet the demands of our business partners.The team are responsible for engineering and development in support of the Bank Enterprise Regulatory E-Communications Archive for e-discovery and supervision services.The team process, archive, and own record management for 50+ data feeds. They carry out all automation, metrics, and reporting for these services.For reference, information about the services/vendors in this space are detailed by Gartner's - Enterprise Information Archive (EIA).Typical work items may include: onboarding new feeds, occasionally, this will be in partnership with Line of Business teams, in other instances, the requirement will be managed end tend. Design and develop automation to improve onboarding workflows. Validation of controls.All efforts are completed in line with the banks rigorous change control procedures and in line with the banks standardised tools.Lead design, development and implementation of technical integrations to timely deliveryDevelop code that will translate from files of varying types (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, Tab Delimited, etc.) into a specific XML formatCapture and log any exceptions and abnormalities with automated responsesDocumentation critic to ensure all custom integrations are rigorously documented for supportability and transparencyWork independently and co-operatively within a team to achieve the following:Document and validate requirementsPlan work sprints and provide delivery timelinesPerform backend development (business logic).Provide day to day support for data and application.Ability to configure vendor products and build integrations.Develop automations and workflow softwareArchitecture, Design, Product Lifecycle - General Engineer SkillsRequired QualificationsTechnical Experience [required / desired]:Python on WindowsMS SQL Queries & Stored ProceduresRedHat Python Development and VIMWeb APIs/SOAPREST ServicesLinuxDesired QualificationsStrong knowledge of:MessagingArchivaleDiscoveryM365 / Teams / SharePoint etc.Required Skills : MySQLBasic Qualification :Additional Skills :Background Check : NoDrug Screen : No
