Our core values of candor, collaboration, curiosity, grit, and inclusivity shape our approach to providing innovative solutions.Position OverviewAs a Cloud Automation Engineer II, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions within our cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on our operations side of the cloud engineering team and utilizing various coding methods. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and optimize resource utilization in our Microsoft Azure environment.Position ResponsibilitiesIdentify and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services via Salesforce and managing Azure DevOps integrationDesign, develop, and deploy automation solutions to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management processesSetup and maintain monitoring and alerts with SIEM (Security Information Event Manager) tools to ensure the health and high availability of our infrastructure. Participating in our cloud weekday and weekend on call scheduleCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation workflowImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate the deployment and management of cloud resourcesDevelop custom scripts and tooling using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or TypeScript to automate repetitive tasks and workflowsMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automated processes to ensure reliability, scalability, and performanceStay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud automation, DevOps, and Microsoft Azure technologiesProvide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other departments as neededThe Ideal CandidateTechnical SkillsKnowledge and demonstrated understanding of enterprise class business applications with low latency, high performance and 24x7 environment supportUnderstanding of operational security, defense in depth strategies and their implementationExperience in troubleshooting web applicationsExperience working with system information and event monitoring (SIEM) solutions (Splunk, Datadog, Grafana etc.)Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and technologiesProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, TypeScript, or similarStrong understanding of cloud automation frameworks (e.g., Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM (Azure Resource Manager) templates, or Azure Resource ManagerAzure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer) are a plusSoft SkillsAnalytical – strong problem solving skills, with the ability to logically troubleshoot on the flyCreative / Innovative – thinks creatively; inspired to put your touch on the workContinuous Learner – proactive in learning new features and other product platforms, displaying your curiosity along the wayCollaborative – contributes to success and growth of the team and selfClient Oriented – does right by the client; challenging our team to make sure we are doing right by the clientResourceful – takes initiative to research information before asking for assistanceDetail Oriented – executes tasks in a methodical way to meet deliverables on time and anticipates risks to clients’ software implementationsChallenge the Status Quo – questions how and why work is done to understand and identify opportunities to improve.
