RRPS Athletic Coach - Mountain View Middle SchoolProduce competitive individuals and teams while teaching character and life skills. Responsibilities include: Verifying athlete participation forms and insurance. Explaining and discussing the RRPS Athletic Code of Conduct with athletes. Preparing and submitting lists and inventories to the athletic office. Compiling and distributing lists of excused athletes for road trips. Coordinating with the Athletic Coordinator for road trip schedules. Ensuring proper storage and care of equipment. Providing a safe place for valuables during practices and games. Demanding proper conduct from athletes and assistant coaches. Ensuring athletes are informed of eligibility rules and regulations. Limiting the time athletes are out of school. Supervising assistant coaches and athletic teams. Staying knowledgeable of sport rules and regulations. Conducting oneself and assistant coaches in a manner that reflects well on the team, school, and community. Encouraging athletes to participate in multiple sports. Developing criteria for earning letters in their sport. Conducting mandatory parent preseason meetings. An Equal Opportunity Employer
