Machine Operator-1

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex production machinery, including the following: start-up, operation, adjustment to parameters, minor maintenance, cleaning, and limited troubleshooting. Work within a team environment, analyze and/or solve production problems, interface with other departments, read and follow manufacturing procedures and prints. Always striving for quality to meet or exceed the customers’ expectations. SHIFT: Monday- Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Operate and maintain SMT line Pick & Place machines and screen printer Set-up and operate the SMT Reflow Oven Coordinate and organize SMT machine operation Determine and coordinate resources for SMT line issues Performs Short Strip and Loose Part Verification Set up feeders/magazines; conduct machine changeovers Communicate issues to the Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor Provide feedback for quality, efficiency, and productivity of the SMT Line QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in the operation of SMT equipment is essential Proficiency in fine pitch SMT soldering and knowledge of associated tools desired Strong communication skills in both written and oral English Computer literate (i.e. Windows, Excel, Word) In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $19.00-$23.00 per hour (for hourly employees) Full-time employees are also eligible for performance based bonuses and benefits.
