This position will report to the Senior Manager of Package Development, and will be an integral part of the day to day operations. The right person will possess a can-do attitude, be highly organized and excel in handling multiple projects at one time. You will get the opportunity to be a part of a fun and creative team at the forefront of HAUS LABS package development.What You’ll DoResponsibilities:Ship and track products or components for all new projects and testingCreate new master digital files for upcoming projectsFile away new packaging standards and keep all retains organizedMail out any benchmarks required for new projectAssist Packaging Team keep organized through documentation and fillingAssist Packaging Manager with monthly testing status reportsSupport with vendor meeting set ups and meeting recaps with action itemsResearch trends for new packaging inspiration – Pulse on trend / social listeningBrainstorm new packaging ideas/conceptsLog and track feedback for component submissions (Vendor samples, custom T0 thru final approved samples)Label all component submissions and fileDistribute final component standards to applicable cross-functional departments, and contract manufacturing partnersRecord any photos from vendor presentations, assist with recaps, sample requests and organize vendor presentation productsOrganize all packaging/ products in assigned boxes by category in the retains closetLabel, separate and organize master bins with current projects by vendorsOrganize and log competitive closetOrganize and order PKG office supplies when neededMaintain Product Closet inventory – create report and reorder/replenish as neededEvery Friday – share out updates for team calendar: meetings, call outs, OOOAssist in Archiving/retrieving from CordataWhat We Are Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology/Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years in packaging engineering within the cosmetics or personal care industry. Proficiency with material science, sustainability practices, and general statistical software. Familiarity with packaging lab equipment and testing protocols. Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
