Orthodontic Dental Assistant -Full TimeQuad City Orthodontics is a modern, patient-centered orthodontic practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming, professional environment. We are looking for an enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Assistant who is passionate about creating beautiful smiles and delivering an amazing patient experience.The Orthodontic Assistant will work with the orthodontist to provide clinical support, excellent patient care, and efficient workflow during treatment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, friendly, quick learner and thrives in a fast-paced office.Key Responsibilities:Assistant the orthodontist with all clinical proceduresTake digital x-rays, photographs, impressions and scansPlace/remove orthodontic appliances (biding by state law requirements) including brackets, elastics, bands, wires, etc.Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment areaEducate patients and parents about treatment and oral hygiene.Schedule appointments and provide administrative support as neededEnsure a positive and comfortable patient experienceQualifications:Experienced Dental Assistant required; Orthodontic Assisting preferredIA State dental assisting certification is a plus(required to obtain upon hire)IA Radiology certification is a plus(required to obtain upon hire)Excellent communication and patient care skillsDocument patient information accurately in practice softwareStrong attention to detail and ability to follow cAbility to multitask and work well in a team settingStrong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical protocolsPositive, professional attitudeReliable, punctualBenefitsCompetitive hourly rate based on experiencePaid time offContinuing education opportunitiesUniform provided401K Retirement PlanPositive, supportive, team-focused on work culture
