This individual will collaborate with the Production team to ensure orders are sent to the production floor in a timely manner and the schedule is kept up to date.What You’ll DoAs a Production Planning Coordinator, you will:Track production order progress through production and update schedulesReview the master schedule to our lead time of each operation to meeting shipping dates according to sales forecasts and customer ordersSchedule workflow for each product line and operation according to previously established manufacturing lead timesCommunicate with department supervisors and line leaders to determine status of assigned projects and workloadMonitor workflow through the department to ensure customer or forecast build schedules are metEstablish best practices for inventory reductionAttend customer calls to facilitate learning the business requirementsExpedite production orders to assist with Customer needsWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on ExcelExcellent communication skillsSpecial Requirements U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. ITAR Requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
