We celebrate unique perspectives and experiences that everyone brings, fostering a culture where employees are valued and empowered.As an important member of the Wicked Weed Brewing team, the Prep Cook is responsible for opening the kitchen, putting out daily orders, ensuring daily prep, product rotation and food safety and quality standards are kept at all times.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Opening the kitchenChecking in and putting away daily ordersEnsuring proper product rotationEnsuring any ordering or shipping errors are communicated to kitchen managementEnsuring quality of product through all steps of receiving and preparationWriting daily prep lists and establishing appropriate prep par levelsResponsible for completion of daily prep/mise en place; meeting quality standardsCompleting temp logsUpholding food safety standards at all timesMaintaining a clean and safe workspace, including prep area and storage areasAdditional duties may be assigned as necessary.Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Workday ends when all prep responsibilities are complete.Fast-pacedThe employee frequently must work in an environment with a moderate to high noise level.Physical Demands:Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time standing and/or walking.
