Blending AssistantReporting to: Production ManagerDepartment: ProductionSummary: Flavorman is seeking a first shift Blending Assistant. The Blending Assistant position is primarily responsible for pack-out duties and sanitation of the blending room.Company Information: Flavorman is a beverage development and service company. Our in-house capabilities, industry expertise and product innovation allow Flavorman to offer our clients a wide range of expert services to turn a great idea into a money-making beverage.Required Skill Set: Candidates must be comfortable and competent working independently as well as actively participating in a team environment. Position requires working quickly and accurately in a fast-moving environment. Attention to detail is critical. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and make judgement calls when necessary.Required Training (Provided by Flavorman): GMP, Forklift Operator CertificationBack-Up Staff: Blending AssistantKey Responsibilities:Food SafetyIngredient BlendingIngredient StorageAllergen Segregation and HandlingGlass and Brittle PlasticsGMPProduction Area Sanitation and CleaningProduction OperationsGenerate, maintain, and implement cleaning and sanitation schedules for production area(s)Prepare and retain samples of finished products for QC.Pack-out finished product into appropriate containers and apply finished product labels.Assist in preparing finished orders for shipping as necessary.Assist in receiving incoming materials as necessary.Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse and Production AreasQualifications:Minimum of one (1) year experience as Flavorman Blending Assistant (or comparable experience).Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines on concurrent projects in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful environmentAbility to understand the practices and policies that are necessary to help maintain a high-performing, employee-friendly office environmentA confident and professional work style, good problem-solving skills, and an ability to work creatively and independently.Consistent attendance.Must pass Flavorman's normal new employee background check.
