Farm Hand / Grounds & Cattle Worker

Job Description Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand with experience working with cattle and performing landscaping/grounds maintenance. This role involves daily livestock care, general farm upkeep, and landscaping duties such as mowing, planting, and property maintenance. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and has experience with both animals and land care.Key ResponsibilitiesFeed, water, and monitor cattle dailyAssist with moving, sorting, and handling livestock safelyIdentify signs of illness or injury and report concernsClean and maintain barns, pens, and equipmentAssist with loading/unloading livestock when neededPerform landscaping and grounds maintenance: mowing, trimming, planting, and general yard workMaintain farm equipment and tools used for landscaping and livestockAssist with fencing, minor repairs, and other general farm workQualificationsPrior experience working with cattle is requiredExperience with landscaping or grounds maintenance preferredBasic knowledge of livestock health and behaviorAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical laborComfortable working in varying weather conditionsValid driver's license (preferred)Equipment operation experience (tractors, mowers, skid steers) is a plusSkills & TraitsDependable and punctualStrong work ethicAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail for both animal welfare and property maintenance
