Project Accounting ManagerSalary: $110,000 - $140,000Why This Opportunity Stands Out:• High-growth company with room to advance• Competitive compensation and bonus opportunity• Hybrid flexibility after onboarding• Senior-level visibility within the organization• Strong team culture with quarterly outings• Opportunity to make a meaningful operational impactKey Responsibilities for the Project Accounting Manager:• Lead and develop the project accounting team (2-4 staff) while actively participating in day-to-day billing, AP, and AR processes as the Project Accounting Manager• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, accurate creation of pay applications for construction projects• Oversee and execute invoicing for assigned projects, including compliance reporting, lien waivers, customer communication, and subcontractor payments• Build, refine, and maintain scalable processes and procedures-every project has unique complexities requiring strong oversight from the Project Accounting Manager• Interact regularly with clients and subcontractors to resolve billing issues, obtain needed documentation, and ensure strong financial accuracy• Leverage technology and new tools to continuously improve billing workflows and project accounting operations• Support accurate project margins through efficient AP/AR processes and strong coordination with project leads• Coach and mentor team members, ensuring effective training, performance, and professional development• Partner with leadership to support broader financial operations initiatives and process optimizationQualifications for the Project Accounting Manager:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred (not required with strong experience)• 5-7+ years of project accounting experience, ideally within construction• Expertise in construction billing, pay applications, AP, AR, and project assignment workflows• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required• Strong process orientation, attention to detail, and ability to identify improvements• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact confidently with project managers, clients, and vendors• Comfortable working onsite after onboarding and transitioning to a hybrid schedule$110K-$140K
