Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hourJob description:CT Technologist Job DescriptionThe CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams according to physician orders while ensuring high-quality imaging and excellent patient care. This role utilizes advanced computerized imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images that assist radiologists in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and medical conditions.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic CT scans accurately and efficiently according to physician ordersOperate specialized CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesUtilize RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) effectivelyPrepare and position patients appropriately for imaging proceduresMonitor patients during exams to ensure safety and comfortFollow radiation safety and infection control protocolsCollaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnosesMaintain accurate patient records and imaging documentationEnsure proper functionality and maintenance of imaging equipmentQualificationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCurrent Indiana Radiologic Technologist license requiredCurrent ARRT (R)(CT) certification requiredStrong communication, patient care, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environmentBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleWork Location: In person
