Join a growing professional services firm specializing in US Tax Services for Businesses & Individuals and Outsourced Accounting.About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong tax professional with hands-on experience in US tax preparation and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of federal and state tax returns, experience with Drake Tax software, and the ability to collaborate with clients and offshore teams.This opportunity is open to US-based candidates only.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal and state tax returns including: o Form 1040 – Individual Tax Returns o Form 1065 – Partnership Returns o Form 1120S – S Corporation Returns o Form 1120 – C Corporation Returns o Form 1041 – Fiduciary/Trust Returns o Form 990 – Nonprofit Organization Returns Prepare workpapers and supporting documentation in compliance with IRS and firm standards Utilize Drake Tax software for tax preparation, diagnostics, e-filing, and workflow management Perform Schedule D and Form 8949 reconciliations involving: o Capital gains/losses o Brokerage statements o Equity compensation o Cost basis adjustments Handle business taxation matters including: o Shareholder/partner basis tracking o Pass-through allocations o Distributions o Entity-specific tax treatments Assist with IRS and state tax notices and correspondence Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather required information and ensure timely filings Stay updated with federal and state tax law changes and IRS guidance Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field 3–4 years of hands-on experience in US tax preparation within a CPA firm, accounting firm, or tax practice Working knowledge of Drake Tax software preferred Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041, and 990 Strong understanding of federal and state tax concepts Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Active Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is a plus What We OfferCollaborative and growth-oriented work environment Exposure to diverse tax engagements across industries Career growth and professional development opportunities Support for CPA progression and continuing education Opportunity to work alongside an experienced US tax team 📩 Apply now or connect to learn more at Sweety.Roy@agilityarctech.com .
