GIS Analyst

Position: GIS AnalystCompensation: $27 - $30 /hour, depending on experienceLocation: Phoenix, AZInceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled GIS Analyst to join their team!This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented GIS professional to support major substation and transmission projects. In this role, you’ll contribute to critical mapping, data analysis, and GIS production work that helps project teams move forward efficiently and accurately. If you enjoy working with diverse data sources, collaborating across teams, and supporting meaningful infrastructure work, this could be a strong fit.Key Responsibilities & Duties:Support GIS mapping for substation engineering and design teamsCreate and update GIS maps, layers, and project deliverablesPerform GIS data analysis, maintenance, and preparationUse aerial imagery, LiDAR, and other sources for feature extractionAssist with projections, transformations, and georeferencing tasksCollect and post-process GPS data with high accuracyResearch parcel ownership and land survey recordsCoordinate data between GIS and CAD platformsCommunicate project status with internal and external teamsRequired Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in GIS, geography, environmental science, or related field1–3 years of related GIS experienceExperience in the ArcGIS desktop environmentStrong basic GIS and data analysis skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipNice to Have Skills & Experience:ArcGIS Pro experienceMaster’s degree in a related fieldGPS project experienceUtility industry experienceTransmission or substation project experienceCAD platform experiencePerks & Benefits:3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary, Short-term and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card deposit If you are interested in learning more about the GIS Analyst opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
