Truck Driver Job Description Job Overview: Join our team as a Truck Driver and play a crucial role in our transportation operations, ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of goods. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting various types of cargo to and from designated locations using commercial vehicles. This position offers opportunities for regional lane driving to SD, IL, IA and TX. You may get home on the weekends for your reset. This is mostly no touch freight and live load/unload. Hauling dry van with automatic sleepers. Day and night driving Responsibilities: - Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to specified destinations. - Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. - Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate delivery schedules. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any transportation-related incidents. - Adhere strictly to company transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations. Qualifications: -Must have at least 6 months of recent experience. -Must have winter driving experience - Must hold a valid CDL Class A license. - Demonstrated experience in commercial driving and delivery operations. - Proficiency in regional lane driving, route planning, and navigating various terrains. - Strong attention to detail regarding safety protocols to uphold accident-free operations.
