OverviewSalary Range: $68,000 - $85,000 AnnuallyThe Admixture Technician will be responsible for expanding the Oz-set program to all plants in IL, IN and WI. This position is responsible for upgrades to dispensing equipment, increasing storage, installing tank monitors, and coordinating DOT calibrations.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage product/parts inventory: Source and order new dispenser parts and tanks, order rail cars and coordinate placement, report monthly inventoryProduct conversion: Replace tank fittings, relabel tanks, fill manifolds, batch panelRepair, recalibrate and standardize dispenser systemManage Vega systems: install, repair and maintain tank monitorsImprove storage capability to improve deliveriesCalibrations for Oz-Set and CaCl2 SystemsLoad plan Oz-Set deliveries- Asist Gasaway with short loadsExpand Oz-Set sales to outside customersGlobal ResponsibilitiesRegular attendance and physical presence at work is an essential function of this positionThis job may require additional duties not listed above and the employee may be asked to perform those duties to meet business needsQualificationsEducation/Specialized Knowledge/Professional Certifications:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperienceMinimum two years in Redi-mix industrySkills/AbilitiesProficient in electrical, plumbing and pneumatics.Working knowledge of Alkon batching systemsOrganizedSelf -MotivatedProblem solverWorking ConditionsFast paced environment with a need to respond to ever changing scenariosExposed to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, heavy construction equipment, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditionsNoise level is usually moderate, but can be high and requires personal hearing protection on occasion at job sites, plants, and laboratoriesJob requires working outdoors year-round in heavy industrial environmentPhysical RequirementsRegularly required to talk or hear; frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperception and ability to adjust focusAbility to lift 75 lbs.Benefits InformationAt Ozinga, we care about the well-being of our team members both in and out of the workplace.
